The beginning of work on painting is always accompanied by the knowledge – the image in my head, and the lack of knowledge – the way to realize it on the canvas. When the painting is complete, the image is “burned” on the canvas, but while the image is dynamic and continues to change in my mind all the time, the painting is permanent – and this gap creates a constant feeling that “I caught something” but it is elusive and can not be grasped … my creation.
